Lincoln Police Crack Down On Weekend Parties

OMAHA, Neb. -- Lincoln busted 36 parties over the back-to-school weekend, ticketing 44 people for minor in possession, maintaining a disorderly house and disturbing the peace, among other violations.The number of complaints is actually down in recent years.
Police Chief Tom Casady attributes the drop to a joint effort between law enforcement, three college campuses and business leaders.
