OMAHA, Neb. -- A Sarpy County man once charged with manslaughter in the death of his wife pleaded no contest Monday to a lesser charge of "Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult".

Jeffrey Krzemien was jailed in May, 2007 after the death of his wife Marnie. At the time, Jeffrey Krzemien told investigators he awoke to find his wife unable to breathe, and called 9-1-1 for advice on administering C-P-R. Sarpy County investigators later determined the couple had an argument that became physical the night before.

Marnie Krzemien had a history of medical problems, including epileptic seizures.

Jeffrey Krzemein will be sentenced in October.
