OMAHA, Neb. -- A 30-year-old was the victim of Omaha's latest shooting death, said Omaha Police.

Officers found Cion Barnes suffering from a gunshot wound in a vehicle near 37th Street and Crown Pointe Avenue Tuesday evening.

Barnes was taken to Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition and later died.

Witnesses said the shooting was the result of a confrontation between occupants of two SUVs, though police could not confirm those details.
