The woman, Terry Kisling, 48, of Hickman, in October was driving a van full of eight Norris High School cheerleaders to a game in Nebraska City. Principal John Skretta said the boys from a Lincoln high school pulled up next to the school van. One of girls held up a sign that said "Beer?" Then one of the boys held out a can of beer, and Kisling maneuvered the school van close enough for her daughter to grab the beer.
Kisling pleaded no contest to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and was sentenced by Otoe County Judge John Steinheider. In a plea deal, a charge of reckless driving was dropped.Someone tipped off administrators two weeks after the incident. They said at the time that they called the sheriff's office, interviewed the girls and Kisling, and she was no longer allowed to drive for the school.
