Council Bluffs Man Ruled Competent For Trial

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- A Council Bluffs man is competent to stand trial, a Pottawattamie County judge ruled on Tuesday.Kaine Dye, 24, is accused of killing William Moser, 64, one year ago. Investigators said Moser was beaten, kicked and strangled and his body was stuffed in a trash bin.Prosecutors said Dye stole a pickup truck on Jan. 26, 2007. The next day, Harrison County authorities located Moser's body near the truck.
In an earlier appearance, Dye talked of being in and out of a psychiatric ward.
