Jeep Leaves Road, Hits Ford Head-On

Two drivers were hospitalized after their vehicles collided Saturday morning.

At about 7 a.m., Douglas County sheriff's deputies said, a Jeep Cherokee left the road near Highway 36 and 64th Street. The Jeep cut through come trees before returning to the highway and hitting a Ford Escape nearly head-on, deputies said.

The driver of the Jeep was taken by medical helicopter.
