A piece of World War II history touched down at Omaha's Eppley Airfield on Tuesday.

The Wings of Freedom Tour features a B-17 Flying Fortress and a B-24 Liberator. Both planes played an important role in winning the war.

Organizers are encouraging veterans and their families to come out for tours of the planes, which will be at Eppley through Wednesday.
