OMAHA, Neb. -- The Nebraska State Patrol issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday, and before 8:30 a.m., the Ord girl had been found, authorities said.

Morgan S. Reilly, 17, had been thought to be in the company of an unknown male named Luke.

Reilly had reportedly text-messaged her mother saying she feared for her life. But just a few hours after the alert was issued, the girl was found safe.

Reilly was reportedly found walking down the street by a classmate and is now at home.

Ord Police Chief Bryan Kirby said Morgan told investigators she sneaked out of the house around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday to meet a man who wanted to talk. Kirby said she said the two went for a drive in his truck but he wouldn't let her leave when she wanted to. Kirby said Morgan said she jumped out of the truck and ran after the man stopped and got out.

Kirby said police are still looking for the unidentified 20-year-old man, and police are still investigating the circumstances.
